New Luxury Resort: Jimbaran, Bali

Raffles Hotels & Resorts continues its pace of expansion with the sighing of a new luxury resort in Bali, Indonesia. Under the agreement, Raffles Hotels & Resorts will manage the new build property – Raffles Amartha – which will be located along the scenic Jimbaran coast once completed in 2010 as the article in TravelTalk Media Group explains.

Spread over 11 hectares, the resort will feature approximately 90 luxurious villas, alongside 25 Raffles Residences for private ownership.

Designed to resemble a Water Palace, Raffles Amartha draws its inspiration from classical Javanese-Hindu architecture and style, characterised by open spaces, water features and walled courtyards on rising terraces.

The centrepiece of the Water Palace is the resort’s lobby which sits high on a terrace overlooking the gardens and ocean.

The property promises extreme privacy, bordered by a cliff above the beach on one side and an 18-hole golf course on the other.

Each villa features a private plunge pool and sun deck and panoramic views of the ocean or golf course.

Resort features include a 2000 square metre Amrita day spa facility, a cliff-top wedding pavilion as well as fitness and sport equipment.
