Krispy Kreme: Jakarta, West Java

Celebrating its first anniversary in Indonesia, Krispy Kreme opened its ninth store Indonesia in Kemang last weekend. Krispy Kreme, which proclaims itself as the premium doughnut brand from the United States, has also introduced a new range of doughnuts called GenB (B stands for “Baru” or New).

These new generation doughnuts, the management says, retain the original taste of Krispy Kreme minus the sugar glaze.

Eight flavors are available as GenB, including Mango, Cappuccino, Peanut Chocolate, Chocolate Peanut-Filled, Coconut Srikaya, Double Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Mint and White Chocolate-Filled.

To accompany these doughnuts, a wide range of beverages are served at Krispy Kreme. They are espresso, frozen blends, chiller/freeze and newly-introduced Zen tea.
