Air Paradise International Up Flying in March
I met quite a few people in Bali several years ago when the ill-fated Air Paradise Airlines decided to pull the plug and these people were really angry and rightly so.
But now, according to an article in the Bali Discovery, the airline has the gall to set up business again. Despite earlier announcements by Air Paradise International (API) executives that they would resume operations in March 2007 reports in the Indonesian-language Bali Post now say API may take wing in May 2007.
API Director, Oka Semadi, told the press that the only remaining hurdle was finding a suitable aircraft available for charter. According to Semadi, “manpower – including cabin crew and even pilots are not a problem.”
There seems to be no regulation and especially in safety for both passengers and flight crew, not to mention the loss of monies when an airline goes bust.
