Adam Air 737-300s Has a Hard Landing: Surabaya, East Java
Adam Air has been in the news of late with the disappearance of one of its planes off Sulawesi and now, one of its Boeing 737-300 aircraft literally collapsed on the runway yesterday at Juanda International Airport in Surabaya severely damaging the fuselage.
Fortunately, all 148 passengers were safe in the accident, which happened during heavy rain forcing the temporary closure of the airport, and, subsequently the government has grounded all seven Boeing 737-300 passenger jets operated by Adam Air. Here’s the article from the Jakarta Post.
